Driven to Succeed: TVS Apache RTR 160 Outshines Pulsar and KTM

TVS Apache RTR 160: TVS motorbikes consistently rule the Indian market thanks to their superior production, as seen by the Contap bike that was introduced to replace the Pulsar and KTM models. In light of this, TVS Motorcycle has revamped and unveiled the RTI 160, the most opulent motorcycle available in its class in India. It has had numerous feature changes in addition to an engine modification.

The TVS Apache RTR is now cheaper and mileage efficient thanks to this update. Its engine has also undergone some minor refinements. It has therefore begun to give greater mileage. Up to 61 kilometers per liter is an amazing mileage for the TVS Apache RTR.

TVS Apache RTR 160 Price

Three variations of the TVS Apache RTR are available in the Indian market. This has a starting variation priced at Rs 1.20 lakh and a premium variant priced at Rs 1.26 lakh ex-showroom. Also, it comes in five different color options at launch. This motorbike weighs 169 kg in total, and its fuel tank holds 12 liters.  

TVS Apache RTR 160 Features

Significant modifications have also been made to the features of the 2024 TVS Apache RTR. It has now been transformed into a fully digital instrument cluster by eliminating its semi-digital instrument cluster. It has also undergone a total modernization. This adds GPS and navigation system functions, as well as smartphone connectivity, Bluetooth connectivity, call alerts, SMS alerts, and email notifications.

TVS Apache RTR 160 Engine

Its engine now has more power and has been improved. It produces greater torque now. It has an air-cooled, single-cylinder, 159.7cc engine. which produces 13.85 nm of torque at 7,000 rpm and 15.8 bhp of power at 8,750 rpm. It has a five-speed gearbox attached to it.  

TVS Apache RTR 160 Brakes

The TVS Apache RTR 160’s front telescopic fork and rear mono shock are responsible for its braking and suspension functions. It has also been equipped with single-channel ABS, disc brakes on the front wheels, and drum brakes on the back to handle braking duties. 

TVS Apache RTR 160 Rival

In the Indian market, it faces competition from Bajaj Pulsar NS 160, Hero Xtreme 160, and Bajaj Pulsar NS 160.
