Since its 2016 launch, Maruti has sold six lakh Brezza SUVs in India, making it the company’s best-selling SUV. Brezza’s success is a result of its excellent mileage and safety ratios. It also received the much-needed features along with the redesign. Maruti surprised everyone by raising the price after not doing so in January. How much has the Maruti Brezza’s price increased as a result? Let’s investigate.
Maruti Brezza price hiked
A price increase for a few Brezza range variations has been announced by Maruti. Price increases of Rs 10,000 have been implemented by the brand for the ZXi, ZXi DT, ZXi CNG, ZXi CNG DT, ZXi+, and ZXi+ DT. The price of some models, including the LXi, LXi CNG, VXi, and VXi CNG, has increased by Rs 5,000. The only option to receive a Rs 5,000 price reduction is the VXi AT. There are no pricing changes for other models, such as the ZXi AT, ZXi AT DT, ZXi+ AT, and ZXi+ AT DT. Brezza’s pricing (on-road, Mumbai) now starts at Rs 9.72 lakh and goes up to Rs 16.63 lakh due to price increases.
Brezza as a product
The Maruti Brezza has not been upgraded due to the price increase. The 1.5-liter naturally aspirated petrol engine, which can produce 102 horsepower and 135 Nm of torque, is still in use. For those who are worried about mileage, there is also a CNG alternative. There are two types of transmissions available: an automatic and a manual. A sunroof, a 9.0-inch touchscreen system, six airbags, ESP, an ARAKMY sound system, a 360-degree camera, and other features are some of the standout features.
