The Indian-made product At the current Indonesia International Motor Show 2024, the Maruti Suzuki Jimny 5-door has made its debut in Indonesia. There is a choice between the five-door and three-door models in this additional global market.

The interior layout and design of the dashboard remain unchanged. However, the India-spec SUV has push button start, a small convenience feature that is absent from the Indonesian model. The remaining equipment includes a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system, cruise control, automated climate control, headlight washers, six airbags, and electronic stability control.
Powering the Indonesian Jimny is a well-known 1.5-liter gasoline engine mated to a 4-speed torque converter automatic gearbox or a 5-speed manual gearbox. The ex-showroom price of the Maruti Suzuki Jimny is Rs 12.74 lakh in India. It competes with the Force Gurkha and Mahindra Thar, which are both presently available in three-door form. Later on, larger five-door versions of both of Jimny’s competitors will be unveiled.
