The Royal Enfield Hunter 350: A Must-Have for Motorcycle Enthusiasts in India

Royal Enfield Hunter 350: Here is what we currently know about the upcoming Royal Enfield Hunter 350. It’s accessible but heavy. Though it is not very fast, it is swift. Additionally, it handles corners well and responds quickly, but it is not the most comfortable on bumpy roads. But these observations come from riding the Hunter in different tests, fuel runs, and photo shoots.

However, we have made the decision to put up with it through sunshine and rain, trips and commutes, maintenance, and petrol fill-ups in order to find out. The Hunter should now officially join the BikeWale long-term fleet.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350 Performance and Capability

The Hunter 350 from Royal Enfield is powered by an oil- and air-cooled thumper. It has a long-stroke design with a displacement of 349 cc and a bore and stroke of 75 mm and 85.8 mm, respectively. The engine is the same as that of the Meteor and the Classic 350. It’s a sturdy bike, but not very jazzy in the performance arena.

Hunter 350 generates 19.9 pound-feet of torque and 20.11 horsepower. Though it’s only pushing 400 pounds wet plus rider(s), those power numbers may seem low, as they should be on such a machine, but that’s plenty of power for an exuberant ride. To maintain simplicity and lightness in the upper end, a single overhead cam is used in conjunction with a two-valve head.

Power is transferred to a chain-type final drive via a five-speed gearbox and a standard wet clutch. A maximum speed of 114 km/h (70 mph) is achieved by the Royal Enfield Hunter 350 with an overall drive ratio of. All things considered, this is a contemporary engine that has electronic fuel injection and an ignition system controlled by the ECU.

Royal Enfield Hunter 350  Design

Keeping the timeless design elements from the 1960s and 1970s is something Royal Enfield does exceptionally well with the Hunter 350. This is the traditional standard build that is further enhanced by the fact that it is also covered by UJM.

The tripletree, fork gaiters, and blackout suspension are nested behind a high-side front fender. This blackness covers the entire front end, including the handlebar risers, mirrors, cyclops headlight housing and the bar itself.

The switchgear minimises things and the instrumentation consists of two asymmetrical round gauges. If you’re into that kind of thing, the traditional teardrop fuel tank unlocks some body English elements and holds a respectable 3.4 gallons (13 litres) before tapering towards the rear to give shorter riders a break.

To separate the two levels, a bench-style seat gently offsets vertically to prop up the pilot and pillion. Rearward tubular J.C. handle and main frame-mount foldable footpegs round out the passenger amenities. Nestled above the mudguard that completes the gear in the back are the taillight and the blinkers.
