India will not be receiving the global facelift of the iconic sedan’s fourth generation.
2024 Skoda Octavia: Trailer sketches have provided us with our first glimpse of the updated design of the fourth-generation Skoda Octavia, which will make its world premiere on February 14. From the information that has been made public, it appears that Skoda has kept the Octavia’s general design the same and, like the Porsche 911, has only further improved its details to keep it interesting.

With an updated grille, sharper headlights, and a redesigned sportier bumper up front, the 2024 Octavia’s design changes are most noticeable. The interior of the new LED headlights is colored blue by elements resembling crystallinum, but the LED daytime running lights in the shape of a boomerang are what really draw attention.
While the overall side profile stays the same, the alloy wheels also receive a new design. The shape of the tail lamps is similar to the outgoing model towards the back, but there has been a change in the light signature. Shaper cuts and creases have been added to the rear bumper redesign. The new Skoda Octavia appears to have a sportier overall design based on the sketches.
The interior of the redesigned Skoda Octavia has not yet been made public by Skoda, but we may anticipate new upholstery, color choices, and feature enhancements like a bigger infotainment screen.
Additionally, Skoda has revealed a preview of the Octavia vRS’s revised design. Sporty alloy wheels and a unique bumper with large, aggressive air vents are features of the performance-oriented version. It will probably also have a sporty rear bumper. The Octavia will still be available worldwide in sedan and estate body styles.
Many engine options, such as a 1.5-liter turbocharged, 2-liter turbocharged, and 1.4-liter plug-in hybrid (for the VRS model), will probably be available for the Skoda Octavia from Skoda abroad. Both manual and automatic transmission options will be available to customers. The facelifted sedan will likely be available in India in its vRS variant, which already enjoys a sizable fan base, even though the standard Octavia won’t be returning.
However, since it will be imported fully assembled, we predict that this aggressive Skoda Octavia sedan, with over 200 PS available, will cost more than Rs 40 lakh. Although it is a significant amount of money, it is still far more inexpensive than a vehicle like the BMW M340i. Thus, which one would you pick?
