Early in 2024, Honda will probably introduce an electric scooter as its first EV in India. It might be referred to as the Honda Activa Electric to guarantee familiarity. You can learn more about all the EVs anticipated to be introduced in India in 2024 here. We have already covered all of them. Further in-depth information about the forthcoming Activa electric scooter may be found in our story here.

CB350-based Cruiser

After releasing the Honda CB350 in 2023, the manufacturer now offers three different models in the 350cc neo-retro market: the appropriate neo-retro H’ness CB350, the CB350RS, a scrambler-style model, and the Honda CB350, a retro roadster. The Royal Enfield Bullet 350 has direct competition from the new bike. A cruiser bike will be the next logical step up in the 350cc lineup. Therefore, we anticipate Honda will release a cruiser based on the CB350 platform in 2024 to rival the Yezdi Roadster and the Royal Enfield Meteor 350.

The bike will be driven by the same 348.36cc single-cylinder air-cooled engine that powers the H’ness CB350, CB350RS, and the new CB350. This engine generates 21.07PS and 30Nm. Anticipate a slightly sloped front end in addition to body components that have been altered to fit the cruiser aesthetic. Honda might introduce the motorcycle.

NX500

The Japanese company, Honda, is set to introduce the NX500, a middleweight adventure cycle, in India by early 2024. This would imply that the bike will be on sale sometime in February or late January.

A 471cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine with 47PS and 43Nm will power the NX500. It will have traction control and a TFT console, among other things. Perhaps the new Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 is more off-road capable than this model. This is a result of the NX500’s 19-inch alloy front wheels and its 17-inch alloy rear wheels.

The motorcycle is anticipated to be released by Honda in India for an on-road price of Rs 7.5 lakh, meaning that the ex-showroom pricing will be in the range of Rs 6.5 lakh. The Honda NX500 will be the company’s most reasonably priced multi-cylinder ADV when it launches.

At EICMA 2024, Honda debuted the revised Honda CB650R and its supersport brother, the Honda CBR650R. Both the features and design of the two motorcycles are altered. More significantly, it has E-Clutch technology, which engages and disengages the clutch using two electric motors connected to a separate ECU. This should facilitate commutes within cities. Here is more information about how it operates.

In summary, Honda appears to have something appealing for various purchasers in 2024. Please keep checking back to carstech as we will be providing updates on these releases as soon as they occur!
