As we had previously predicted, the Punch EV would slot in between the Tigor EV and the Nexon EV, with the Standard Range model’s specs mirroring those of the Tigor EV battery pack and the Long Range model’s powertrain matching the Nexon EV battery’s base specifications.

Our predictions are almost correct because the Punch EV entry-level model has a 25 kWh battery (the Tigor EV has a 26 kWh battery), while the top-spec model has a 35 kWh battery (which is marginally bigger than the base 30 kWh unit of the Nexon EV).

Standard Range and Long Range are the two primary variants of the Tata Punch EV that are offered. Five wide trim levels are available for selection: Smart, Smart +, Adventure, Empowered, and Empowered +. The Punch EV’s Standard Range variation is available in all five trim levels, while the Long Range variant is only available in the mid-spec Adventure trim.
