Bajaj Auto has updated its lineup of electric two-wheelers with the introduction of the 2024 Bajaj Chetak Premium and Urbane models. Both items are priced ex-showroom at Rs. 1,15,001 for the former and Rs. 1,35,463 for the latter. These scooters can now be equipped with the new TecPac package (optionally) to take advantage of several more features.
Bajaj Chetak Premium
The most notable improvement for the Premium edition is installing a new five-inch TFT screen. The scooter’s new 3.2 kWh battery pack has a significantly greater maximum range of 127 km, and its top speed has grown to 73 kmph. In addition, Bajaj offers an 800W charger for the Premium trim, which allows the Chetak to cover 15.6 kilometers on a single charge in just 30 minutes. The extra features included in the Chetak Premium are self-canceling blinkers, left and right control switches, an electronic handle lock, and a seat opening switch. Not to mention, the Chetak is now a more useful gadget with extra boot space.
Bajaj Chetak Premium Features
Chetak Premium users who select the TecPac get access to a slew of additional features, such as turn-by-turn navigation, onscreen music controls, phone alerts, hill hold control, and display style customization. Oddly, these features can also be added to the Urbane model by selecting the TecPac package, which also oddly raises the Urbane model’s top speed from 63 mph to 73 mph.
The 2024 Bajaj Chetak Premium will come in three color options: Indigo Blue, Brooklyn Black, and Hazelnut. The Urbane trim comes in four color options: Indigo Metallic Blue, Brooklyn Black, Cyber White, and Coarse Grey.
