2025 Ford Bronco Price Shake-Up: Base Trim Returns & Raptor Gets Cheaper

2025 Ford Bronco 1

2025 Ford Bronco: Big changes are rolling in for the 2025 Ford Bronco lineup. The long-lost Base trim is making a comeback, four trims are being axed, and Ford is introducing fresh updates, new features, and even a price drop for the mighty Raptor.

Due to the 2024 supply chain issues and Ford’s focus on the new Ranger, the Bronco Base trim was shelved last year. But for 2025, it’s back—and brings more value, though at a slightly higher starting price. At the same time, Ford is streamlining the lineup and adding enticing upgrades, including a slick new matte body wrap option.

Major Pricing Changes for 2025

Ford’s updated Bronco pricing delivers good news and bad news. The high-performance Bronco Raptor receives a substantial $9,940 price reduction, lowering its MSRP to $ 72,050. Meanwhile, the returning Base model sees a $1,100 bump, now starting at $40,990. Across the rest of the lineup, most trims experience modest price increases, except for the Badlands, which drops $900.

Base Trim Returns—But With a Delay

Don’t rush to your local dealership just yet—the Base trim will be a late addition to the production schedule. Available in both two-door and four-door variants, the two-door will feature a Carbonized Gray MIC hardtop, while the four-door comes with a soft black cloth top. These are basic 16-inch steel wheels with all-season tires, LED headlights, black MIC with “Bronco” name in white, and rugged black bumpers.

The powertrain consists of a 2.3-liter turbocharged EcoBoost I-4 engine paired with a 7-speed manual transmission (including “Granny Gear”) and part-time 4WD, along with basic HOSS 1.0 suspension. A 10-speed automatic transmission is optional, bringing Trail Control and Trail Turn Assist.

Interior & Tech Updates

In terms of interior content, the Base trim now has an improved instrument panel display: a new 12-inch digital cluster instead of either an 8-inch cluster or analog, a 12-inch infotainment touchscreen that includes FordPass Connect,   AT&T-powered 4G LTE hotspot access (free for three months or up to 3GB). Manual cloth seats come standard, along with split rear seating—50/50 for two-door and 60/40 for four-door models.

Sasquatch Package Is Back!

One of the Base trim’s best features? It still supports the Sasquatch Package, which includes 17-inch beadlock-capable wheels, 35-inch rugged tires, high-clearance fenders and suspension, Bilstein position-sensitive dampers, electronic locking front and rear differentials with a 4.7:1 gear ratio, and factory-installed tube steps.

Raptor and Badlands See Price Cuts

The off-road king—the Bronco Raptor—is now a little more affordable financially, with its price falling below the $ 82,000 mark. The Badlands model also gets a small discount, now starting at $52,380, down $900.

Trim Cuts: What’s Discontinued

With the return of the Base trim, Ford is also doing away with several expensive and rare options. The other four trims, Black Diamond, Wildtrak, Everglades, and Heritage Limited Edition, will all disappear for 2025. But Ford is saying that the Stroppe Special Edition will replace Wildtrak and has not specified how many they will build. As well, two-door Big Bend and Heritage variants will no longer be available, which means that if the two-door option appeals to you, you will only have three choices: Base, Badlands, and Stroppe.
