Mercedes AMG GT 63: Produced by Jerry Bruckheimer, the F1 movie will have Brad Pitt and Damson Idris in the lead and will be directed by Top Gun: Maverick’s Joseph Kosinski. A very special collaboration exists between the creative side of the film and Mercedes-AMG for the supply of film authenticity and adrenaline, from the racing know-how to the actual thrill machines.

Mercedes-AMG Organization’s partnership with Mercedes AMG GT 63 for the unique and singular Mercedes AMG GT 63 APXGP Edition series began lately.

Lights, Camera, APXGP!

You’ve seen Formula 1 on the track, but now it’s racing to the big screen. Intended to come into being, F1 is a film produced by Apple Original Films, directed by Joseph Kosinski and Jerry Bruckheimer as the best co-producers behind it. The movie follows a fictional F1 team, APXGP, brought to life with the help of Mercedes-AMG’s real-world racing knowledge and multiple race-prepped cars.

The Mercedes-AMG, in the spirit of this cinema-speedway collaboration, has launched the 2026 GT 63 APXGP Edition, an ultimate performance tribute to the film and those behind it.

A Race Car for the Red Carpet

The APXGP name comes from the team featured in the film, portrayed as fierce competitors on the global F1 circuit. So, while Brad Pitt and Damson Idris will never engage in a duel with George Russell or Kimi Raikkonnen behind the wheel of an F1 or two, the exclusive version of this GT 63 has somehow had its race car design deeply go into its veins.

The matte black body, paired with the aggressive Hyper Gold accents, makes it the kind of car to carry inspiration from motorsport.

Gold-painted 21-inch forged wheels, race-style highlights around the grille, rear diffuser, and a checkered flag graphic behind the front fenders elevate its visual drama. The rear features a geometric gray pattern near its fixed carbon fiber spoiler, matching the film’s race car livery.

Luxury with a Golden Touch

Step into the cabin, and the theme carries on. Dramatic blows have been dealt to the interior details from the gold contrast stitching on the seats, console, and steering wheel, all the way down to the floor mats that are embroidered with the gold AMG logo. Even the glossy carbon fiber interior trim has shimmering gold threads running through it. The illuminated gold AMG door sill finishes off the cinematic interior style spectrum.

Undeniably Untouched Performance: Mercedes AMG GT 63

Within the ostentatious paint schemes and luscious materials is the very engine that has always defined the GT 63. A raw 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 produces 577 horsepower, letting the coupe achieve mileage from 0–60 mph in 3.1 seconds under the grip of AMG’s 4Matic+ all-wheel drive.

Outside the limits of equipment that may have included three of the above-mentioned packages- Carbon Fiber, Extended Night, and Aerodynamics APXGP Edition would have looked downright ugly. Track-worthy, I say! Yep, carbon-ceramic brakes, rear-wheel steering, and active roll stabilization are all included.

An Ultra-Rare Collectible

Only 52 GT 63 APXGP Editions will be born, each will sport a commemorative plaque and an indoor car cover specially made for it. Sorry, Brad Pitt won’t be there to give it passport stamps, but encountering one of these black and gold beasts on the road will surely move your heart like spotting a shooting star.

This is where the rubber hits the red carpet for F1 die-hards, cineastes, and Mercedes-AMG loyalists alike.

Only 52 Will Exist

Production is strictly limited to 52 units, each featuring a unique dedication plaque in the center console. Owners will also receive a matching indoor car cover to protect their cinematic ride.

No, there’s no life-size clone of Brad Pitt to co-pilot the car for you. But if you manage to spot a black-and-gold GT 63 zooming by, rest assured, it is in the capable hands of a die-hard AMG lover or somebody trying to unleash their inner Hollywood racer.
