Driving Into the Future: 2 Toyota’s New Cars Make Their Debut

Toyota’s New Cars: In the Indian market, Toyota appears to have awakened from its protracted sleep. It introduced several new vehicles in 2022, including the Urban Cruiser Hyryder and Glanza. Toyota now intends to introduce two new vehicles in various markets. It intends to launch a compact SUV and an MPV. Let’s speak about these two new Toyota vehicles in today’s article.

Ertiga-based MPV

Based on the Ertiga, Toyota is developing a new MPV. It is currently called D23 and is expected to be built on the Heartect platform, according to reports. Unlike what Toyota does with the Rumion marketed in South Africa, this will not be a straight rebadge of the Ertiga. The D23 might have the same interior and characteristics as the Ertiga, but it might have a different exterior appearance.

Maruti is introducing the Fronx, an upgraded Baleno hatchback, as we already know. Given that the Glanza is based on the Baleno, a crossover version of the Glanza is also anticipated from Toyota. The 1.0-liter BoosterJet engine will power this crossover version of the Glanza, which will be built on the Heartect chassis. This Glanza crossover would have a new exterior style and interior color scheme. It may share features with the Glanza, so expect features like a heads-up display, 360-degree camera, and a floating infotainment system.
