Tata Motors: In 2023, Tata Motors successfully introduced three redesigned models to the Indian market. In January 2024, the business unveiled the Punch. EV, its first electric model, in response to this success. Tata Cars is poised to maintain its dominance in the Indian market as the tide continues to turn in its favor. Here is a preview of every Tata vehicle that will be released in the following 24 months.
Tata Altroz Racer
The Altroz Racer will be the first Tata hatchback produced by the firm in 2024. The new model, which is a sportier take on the Tata Altroz, will be powered by the 1.2-liter turbocharged petrol engine from the Nexon. This engine can be coupled to a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT gearbox, and its rated output is 118 horsepower and 170 Nm.
A new paint job, black alloy wheels, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, a 360-degree camera, and a digital instrument cluster are just a few of the anticipated upgrades for the 2018 model. The Hyundai i20 N-Line is expected to give the Tata Altroz Racer fierce competition when it launches in India in the first half of 2024.
Tata Altroz Facelift
In 2024, four years after its introduction, the Tata Altroz is anticipated to undergo a minor cosmetic makeover. The new model is anticipated to have visual changes and to be in line with the future Altroz Racer, which will have additional features including ventilated seats, a 10.25-inch touchscreen, and a 360-degree camera. We anticipate that the 1.5-liter diesel, 1.2-liter CNG, and 1.2-liter petrol engine options will be available on the next Tata vehicle.
Although the Altroz Facelift’s release date has not yet been announced, we anticipate the new model to go on sale in July 2024. The Hyundai i20, Maruti Suzuki Baleno, and Toyota Glanza are some of the Altroz’s rivals.
Tata Altroz EV
The company’s final new electric vehicle, the Altroz EV, is anticipated to debut before the end of 2025 and is built on the Gen 2 Activ. EV architecture. Technical difficulties with the Altroz EV project, which was first shown in 2019, compelled Tata Motors to switch from an ICE base to a pure EV platform. The new electric hatchback will have the same exterior appearance as the Altroz Facelift, but it will have alloy wheels and a grille bumper tailored specifically for EVs.
About the powertrain, Tata might provide the Altroz EV with two options for battery packs: 25 kWh and 35 kWh, which would give it a range of 315 km and 421 km, respectively. The new Tata automobile model’s performance specs should be the same as those of the recently released Punch. EV, with which it will share a price.
Next-Generation Tata Tiago
The next Tiago model is anticipated to be the final hatchback model produced by Tata Motors. The new model is anticipated to provide its passengers with full 5-star safety thanks to an extensive interior redesign. Significant exterior modifications can include a more modernized grille, headlights, and bumper. Inside, we anticipate that the new Tata vehicle will have a larger touchscreen, an updated semi-digital instrument cluster, a quality sound system, and six airbags as standard equipment.
It is anticipated that the powertrain options will stay unchanged with minor improvements to improve NVH levels. Tata Motors has not yet announced the next generation Tiago’s release date, but we anticipate it to be on sale in 2025.
We anticipate Tata Motors to update the Tigor sedan with additional safety measures in addition to the Tiago update. Along with a significant feature upgrade, the small sedan will also receive a minor appearance makeover in this update.
