The Z900 now costs more according to Kawasaki India. The price of the 2024 Kawasaki Z900 (ex-showroom Delhi) has increased by Rs 9,000. The metallic Spark Black/Metallic Matt Dark Grey and the ebony/metallic matte graphene steel grey colour options are the only variants offered.

With a six-speed gearbox, a slip-and-assist clutch, and a 948cc inline four-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing 125PS and 98.6Nm, the Kawasaki Z900 is still powered by this engine. Every piece of hardware, feature, and other component from the 2023 model is still present on the naked bike.

A colour TFT display with smartphone connectivity is included with the Kawasaki Z900. The bike has three riding modes—Sport, Road, and Rain—three-mode traction control, and manual settings in the Rider mode. All of the lighting is LED. Its fuel tank is large—17 litres.

The bike’s frame is made of trellis, and it has a 140mm wheel travel horizontal back-link monoshock and an inverted fork with 120mm of travel. Both components have adjustable spring preload and rebound damping. With dual channel ABS, braking is provided by two 300mm petal discs up front and one 250mm petal disc down the back. 180-section rear tyres and 120-section front tyres support the vehicle. The Z900’s seat height is 820mm, and it weighs 212kg.

Competition for the 2024 Z900 includes the BMW F900R, Ducati Monster, and Triumph Street Triple 765. In light of the kind of performance and features the Z900 provides, the slight price increase is still quite reasonable. To top it off, every competitor charges a significant premium.
